Finding case information
Courts may publish information about cases on their website, so you could look at the website of the court your case was held in. NSW Caselaw is a good place to look for judgements from most NSW courts. AustLII is one of Australia's best legal resources, but it can be tricky to search. Here are some guides to help you- |

Try to use articles from a number of different websites as some media outlets will have more detail than others. We have links below for the Courts or Crime sections of a number of news outlets, but remember you can also search for topics or cases on news websites, just look for the search box or magnifying glass icon around the top of the page.

Reading articles from court reporters is another good way to find information, because these reporters are allowed into court rooms and it is their job to report what is going on in the courts. Here are a few court reporters:
