How to use the Inaburra eLibrary
1. Go to the Inaburra eLibrary.
2. Click Sign In at the top right of the homepage.
3. Log in using your school login. The username is your last name then your first name, without spaces or capital letters. The password is your normal school password.
4. Once you have signed in you can use the buttons to browse, read, search or borrow.
5. When you are browsing, the books that are faded are on loan and can’t be borrowed at the moment. The books that aren’t faded are all available to borrow.
6. When you click on a book, you will see a page of information about it.
- Click look inside or view more to find out more about the book
- Click the author’s name to see other books in the eLibrary written by that author
- Click save for later if you want to borrow the book another time. This is a good way to save books that are currently on loan so you can find them again when they are available to borrow.
- Click borrow to borrow the book.
7. When you have borrowed a book you have buttons to read the book or return it. If you don’t return the book it will disappear out of your account after 13 days, but if you finish reading it earlier please remember to return it so that other people can borrow it.
8. When you open a book that you’ve borrowed you will see a screen like this. Use the left/right arrows on your computer to turn the pages. The different symbols on the page let you add bookmarks, change the font size, search in the book, change to full screen mode etc.
9. When you click loans in the grey menu at the top of the page you will see all the books you have on loan, so you can easily read and return them. You can also use the grey menu to see your saved books, or to search for a book.
10. Next to the search box in the grey menu there is an option to go to the advanced search. You can use this to look for series, authors, or search for a specific format.
