Literature awards
If you’re looking for something to read or looking for new authors to try out, literary awards are a good place to find books that other people thought deserved recognition. There are a lot of literary awards in different countries and across different types of literature. Some are for specific genres, others are more general (though often genre books win these), and some have different categories for genres and styles. We’ve made a list of some of the ones you might be interested in. If you’re a younger reader please be aware that most of these awards are for books aimed at adults, so for books more suitable for your age group look at the YA section. |
